2023 has been an exceptional year for Crash Media Group with the acquisition of CarThrottle to sit next to our other brands Crash, Visordown, BSN and Golf Magic. We are looking for a Junior Production Assistant to support all aspects of film production for Car Throttle in this exciting, varied and hands on role.
The individual will need to have a passion for cars and be highly knowledgeable of their upkeep, running and maintenance.
Responsibilities include:
- Working on Car Throttle cars in between filming
- Towing and moving cars
- Ordering and collecting parts
- Working on behind the scenes tasks in the production process
- General running for shoots
- Scripting
- Booking locations, travel and accommodation
- Speaking to tracks, dealerships, clients, transport, mechanics
- Sorting Insurance, managing the Car Throttle fleet and the bay
- Conducting crowd control by putting up signs, directing pedestrians away from filming, lock down sets etc.
- Perform administrative work (answering phones, paperwork etc.)
- Undertake errands as assigned
Requirements:
- A genuine and extreme enthusiasm for cars
- A basic to medium understanding of working on cars (e.g. serviced their own car, changed brakes, changed suspension)
- Willing to do regular long-distance travelling, including overnight stays
- An understanding of automotive part procurement
- An interest or background in video production
- A valid UK driving license
- Able to work in the West of London
