Social Media Manager

CarThrottle is one of the biggest automotive media platforms in the world providing the latest news, reviews, and engaging content in the automotive industry. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, visually appealing content to our audience.

We are seeking a creative and skilled Social Media Manager with a strong focus on short form video creation and editing to join our team. As the Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our social presence and engaging with our community across various social media platforms.

The role itself is based in our London office. We operate a hybrid work policy with up to 2 days a week being taken from home. Responsibilities

  1. 1. Content Creation
    • Conceptualize, create, and edit compelling short form videos (30 seconds to 3 minutes) that align with our brand and resonate with our target audience.

    • Utilize your video editing skills to produce visually stunning and shareable content, with a particular emphasis on automotive-related topics.

  2. 2. Social Media Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.

    • Stay updated on social media trends and emerging platforms to ensure our content remains relevant and cutting-edge.

  3. 3. Platform Management:
    • Manage and curate content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, & Twitter.

    • Optimize content for each platform, ensuring it meets the specific requirements and resonates with the unique audience on each.

  4. 4. Audience Engagement:
    • Foster and nurture an active and engaged online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that encourage user participation and interaction.

  5. 5. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of social media content using analytics tools.

    • Provide regular reports on key metrics, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management with a focus on short form video editing.

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

  • Be a car culture fanatic and also have a strong understanding of automotive trends and terminology

  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh and engaging content ideas.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
